Dynamic IP

Select “Dynamic IP” if your Internet Service Provider
assigns an IP address to you automatically using DHCP
(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) (e.g. cable
internet providers).

Static IP

Select “Static IP” if your ISP provides you with a fixed IP
address.

PPPoE

Select “PPPoE” if your ISP provides internet access via
Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) (usually
ADSL users).

PPTP

Select “PPTP” if your ISP provides internet access via
Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP).

L2TP

Select “L2TP” if your ISP provides internet access via
Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP)

WISP

Select “WISP” if your ISP provides wireless internet
access.
