1 Turn your computer and the drive both
on (before connection).
2 Connect your computer and the drive
using an IEEE1394 interface cable
that came with the drive.

drive is correctly recognized

Install the CD writing software.

Start using the CRW8824IX drive.
Use the drive to create an audio CD, to
backup data on your hard drive, or for
whatever purpose suits your needs.
Before using the drive, make sure that
the drive is recognized by CD writing
software on your computer.
