Safety requirements

• Natural Gas / LPG versions of this appliance

are available.

• Check that this model is suitable for the type

of supply available. This appliance must be
installed and/or serviced by a competent
person in accordance with the Gas Safety
(Installation and Use) Regulations Current
Editions and the I.E.E. Wiring Regulations.

• Detailed recommendations are contained in

the following British Standard Codes of Prac-
tice - BS.6172, BS.5440: Part 2 and B.S.
6891. All British Standards must be 'Current
Editions'.

• For appliances installed in the Republic of

Ireland please refer to NSAI – Domestic Gas
Installation IS813 Current Editions and the
ETCI Rules for Electrical Installations. In the
Republic of Ireland a signed Declaration of
Conformity is issued by the installer (IS813
Current Editions Annex D.1).

WARNING!

This appliance must be installed by a qualified
electrician / competent person (CORGI Regis-
tered). Safety may be impaired if installation is
not carried out in accordance with these in-
structions. Do not alter the electrical circuitry of
this appliance.

Provision for ventilation

• This appliance is not connected to a com-

bustion products evacuation device. It
should be installed and connected in ac-
cordance with the current installation regu-
lations. Particular attention should be given
to the relevant requirements regarding ven-
tilation.
