Combustion air is provided by air piping connecting
from the boiler
Air intake fitting to the outside.
You must direct vent the boiler (pipe outside air to
boiler air intake fitting) if the boiler area may contain
contaminants as described in this supplement.
Two direct vent options are permitted:
1. Sidewall direct vent
— using Weil-McLain Vent/Air Intake Termination
Kit . See instructions in CGs Direct Vent: Sidewall
& Direct Exhaust: Vertical or Sidewall Venting
Supplement. Termination kit is included with CGs
boiler. See
Figure 3 .
2. Vertical direct vent
— using Weil-McLain Through-Roof or Through-
Unused-ChimneyTermination Kit . Instructions for
vertical direct venting are covered in this
supplement. See
Figure 4 .
