9. When the self-test is completed, a “rd” (ready) is displayed, followed by two
beeps, “00” and then the speed/function setting or
10. Insert your new firmware title CD into the top CD-ROM drive.
11. The SmartDup will upgrade automatically as it runs through its routine to
display the new version, eject the firmware title CD, and result with the LED
showing the maximum writing speed.
12. If a failure occurs, a beep is heard, an “Er” is displayed and the CD-R media will
be ejected.
