5. Click Preview to preview the image.
The scanner scans a preview image of the slides or negatives.
Selection boxes appear on the window. The selection boxes show
where the scanner will scan for the images.
This example of the Advanced Interface
is for scanning 35mm slides. This example of the Advanced Interface is
for scanning a filmstrip of 35mm negatives.
Selection boxes appear around the
images. Four boxes appear for
negatives (as shown here), and
three for 35mm slides.
Selection box 2 is selected here.
Click on a box to select it.
The selection boxes are also represented
by the tabs here on the Scan Info box.
Click on a tab to see the information
about a selected image. See “The Scan
Info Box” on page 59 for details.
