Using an External Keyboard
If desired, you may connect any IBM-compatible
external PS/2 keyboard. If you are using a 101
keyboard, a 101 to PS/2 adapter must first be
purchased. To connect the keyboard, complete
the following steps:
1.
Turn off the computer.

Note:
If you connect the PS/2 keyboard to the
computer while power is on, press
Ctrl-Alt-Del
(warm start), or cycle power so the computer can
detect the presence of the keyboard.
2.
Attach the six-pin Mini-Din connector to the
Keyboard/Mouse connector on the left side of
the TM5000.
3.
Reconnect the AC Adapter, and turn on the
computer.
