Responding to
Low Battery Conditions

If you are in Windows, double-click on the
Shutdown icon to exit all active
applications as well as Windows.

Press Fn-F4 or Suspend to put the
computer into sleep mode whenever you are
not actively using the computer.

Turn off the computer if it does not need to
be active.
When the computer first shuts down, it goes into
a deep sleep mode for about five minutes. During
this time, you can replace fully-charged batteries
one at a time and then resume from the deep
sleep mode or connect AC power.
