Multipress time out - sets the length of time

between keypresses when entering text in Multi-

press mode.

Confirmation time out - sets the delay before

an unconfirmed action times out.

In-call alert volume - sets the volume of

sounds played while you are in a call.

3. Select Done.

Changing regional settings

You can specify the language, locale, date and time,

number and currency formatting options.

Changing power management

settings

Use Power Management to check the battery status

and configure settings that prolong battery life.

1. From the Home screen, select Start > Settings

> Power Management.

2. Adjust the following:

Backlight time out on battery - select the time

period for the phone to be idle before the

backlight turns off.

Backlight time out on AC - select the time

period for the phone to be idle before the

backlight turns off when using AC power.

Display time out - select the time period for the

phone to be idle before the screen turns off.

3. Select Done.

Security settings

It is advisable to apply certain security features in

the event that your Toshiba phone is lost or stolen.

In addition, some security features can be applied to

prevent unauthorised use.

You can apply the following security:

Enable SIM PIN - prevents unauthorised use of

your SIM card in any phone.

Key lock - prevents accidental calls and

operations.

Device lock - prevents unauthorised use.

NOTE: The time format is dependent on the

time format setup in your phone settings,

under Regional Settings.
