You will need:
one S-video cable
one pair of standard audio cables

VHS Camcorder

Note:

For better picture quality, if your camcorder
has S-video, you can use an S-video cable
(plus the standard audio cables) instead of a
standard video cable.
Do not connect both a standard video cable
and an S-video cable at the same time, or the
picture performance will be unacceptable.

You will need:
one set of standard AV cables

Connecting an audio system

This connection allows you to use an audio amplifier and external
speakers, and adjust the audio level using the TV/DVD’s remote
control.
To control the audio, turn on the TV/DVD and the stereo amplifier, and
turn off the TV/DVD's built-in speakers (see “Turning off the built-in
speakers” on page 44).

You will need:
• one pair of standard audio cables

Note:

To hear sound when using an external audio
amplifier, the volume of both the TV/DVD and
the amplifier must be set above 0 (zero).
For example, if the volume of the TV/DVD is
set to 0, you will not be able to hear any
sound, even if the volume of the amplifier is at
its highest level.
