Using the Self-timer
Tap the [ ] key in the photograph mode.
The Display screen appears.
Tap the [ ] icon.
A list of self-timer icons is displayed.
Tap the icon to be selected.
The selected option is set and the Display screen is
restored.
[ ] : Approx. 10 seconds after the shutter button is
pressed
[ ] : Approx. 2 seconds after the shutter button is
pressed
[ ] : Self-timer off
Press the shutter button down halfway, then press it
down fully.
The self-timer lamp will first light up, then will start flashing. The camera
automatically takes a photograph when the preset time passes.
To interrupt photography, press the Direction button [ ].
Note
• The self-timer setting is automatically cleared each time a photograph is taken. It is also
automatically cleared when the power is turned off manually or by the Auto Power Off or
when the mode is changed.
The self-timer allows you to be in a picture with other people in your group.
