EXTENSION FLASH
When an extension flash is used along with the main flash, shadows can
be reduced by bouncing the extension flash light off of the ceilings or
walls
.
Place the flash on the mount,
then plug the cord into the
camera’s Flash synchronization
socket.
Set the Mode dial to A/S/M.
• The LCD monitor turns on
automatically.
Turn on the extension flash.
Select the Aperture priority
mode or Manual mode. (p. 89)
Press the Menu button to
display the Menu.
Press the top/bottom arrows
on the Jog dial to select

Press the right arrow on the
Jog dial, then press the
top/bottom arrows to select
AUTO or

• If the ISO sensitivity is set to
auto, it will be changed to 100.
• When AUTO is selected, the
flash will fire automatically
when necessary.

will fire every time a picture is
