After sealing the case, perform the following final checks to confirm
proper operation of the camera.
ț Press the Case’s power switch button to see if the camera can be
turned on and off.
ț Move the mode dial knob on the rear of the Case to see if the
camera mode can be switched accordingly.
ț Press the Case’s shutter level and see if the camera shutter can be
released accordingly.
ț Press other buttons on the Case to see if the camera functions
accordingly.
Perform the final checks after loading.
The position of the camera’s mode dial
cannot be seen once the camera is inside
the Case. Consequently, the shooting
scene and shooting scene mode setting
can only be checked on the LCD monitor. Shooting scene/
shooting scene mode
: • If the camera does not function properly, restart the digital
camera installation procedure from “Check the digital
camera.” on page E-14 of this manual.
• Make sure that the mode dial can be moved after the
camera has been loaded in the Case. If the mode dial
does not move, there may be oil or grease on it; wipe it
clean.
