Picture Search Options
The most basic wa y to search during playback is using the FOR W ARD
(FWD) and REVERSE (REV) buttons. This section contains several other
options available for searching a tape.
Forward and REVERSE Search
You can search a tape during playback. Sound is turned off during
picture search. Search works best for tapes recorded at the SP or SLP
speed.
1. Pr ess FOR W ARD (FWD) to sear ch forward or REVERSE (REV) to
search in reverse.
2. Pr ess FOR WARD or REVERSE a gain or press PLA Y to return to
normal playback.
Insert Tape
Don’t forget to insert a recorded
tape when using the search features.
