Operating a Television with the VCR’s Remote
Control
The unified remote control that came with your VCR can operate most RCA, GE, and Proscan TVs
without any additional steps. To see if the VCR’s remote control can operate your RCA, GE, or
Proscan TV, point it at the unit and press the TV button to put the remote control into TV-
operating mode. Then, press the ON•OFF button. If the TV responds to the command, it can be
operated using the VCR’s remote control.
