HANGING THE

ATTERY
The handset runs on a consumer-replaceable nickel cadmium battery pack.
If you experience any of the following problems, you may need to replace
the battery pack:
• Short talk time • Poor sound quality
• Limited range • CHARGE/IN USE light fails to light

5 Replace and
plug in the new
battery pack
(use catalog
#BT-12 or AT&T
replacement
battery #4051.)
6 Replace the
bracket and
secure it with
the screw.
7 Replace the
battery
compartment
door.
8 Charge the
battery for 12
hours before
use.
1 Slide open
the battery
compartment
door.
2 Unscrew and
remove the
bracket holding
battery in place.
3 Pull out the
battery plug.
4 Remove the
battery pack.

Make sure phone is OFF before you replace battery.
