Placing Originals

❒ Sizes of originals that can be placed
together using this function are as
follows:
AAAA
Press [Special Original].
BBBB
Press [Mixed Sizes], and then press
[OK]

CCCC
Align the rear and left edges of
the originals as shown.

Place the originals into the ADF

Vertical size
DDDD
Adjust the guide to the size of the
widest original.
EEEE
Place the aligned originals face up
in the ADF.
FFFF
Press the
{{{{Start}}}} key.
Placing custom size originals
When placing custom size originals,
specify the size of the originals.
Note
❒ Paper with a vertical size of 105–
297 mm (4.2"–11.6") and a horizon-
tal size of 128–432 mm (5.1"–17")
can be placed with this function.
AAAA
Press [Special Original].
BBBB
Press [Custm Size Origi.].
CCCC
Enter the horizontal size of the
original using the number keys,
and then press [#].
Note
❒ If you make a mistake, press
[Clear]
or the
{{{{Clear/Stop}}}} key,
and then enter the value again.
DDDD
Enter the vertical size of the origi-
nal using the number keys, and
then press [#].
EEEE
Press [OK].
FFFF
Place the originals, and then press
the
{{{{Start}}}} key.
