If You Forget Your Passwords

If you forget your passwords follow this procedure to regain access to your RS 2100.

Note

To perform this procedure, you must use a terminal or PC running terminal
emulation software that is connected directly to the RS 2100 through its DB-9
console port.

Power cycle the RS 2100.

Interrupt the normal boot-cycle and enter Boot mode by pressing the “Esc” key.

From the boot prompt enter the

set

command and note the image name displayed for

bootsource

For example:

Enter the following line to reboot the RS 2100:
