s With Chat you can exchange text messages with another person. For more information, see Chat on
page 51.
Viewing a message you have saved (Outbox)
You can save your own messages in Outbox .
1. Press Menu , select Messages , and then Outbox .
2. Scroll to the desired message and press Read to view it.
3. Pressing Options while you are reading a message allows you to access the same functions as
Inbox , except for Reply and Details .
Erasing messages
You can erase read messages folder by folder.
1. Press Menu , select Messages , and then Erase messages .
2. Scroll to the desired folder and press OK . When Erase all read messages from folder? is displayed,
press OK .
Chat
You can converse with another person by exchanging text messages.
1. Press Menu , select Messages , and select Chat . Or:
While reading a received text message, press Options and select Chat .
2. Key in the other person’s phone number or search for it from the phone book (see Making a call
using the phone book on page 30), and press OK .
