search for the phone number from the phone book and select

Options
you can also find the following:

Send to many
to send the message to several persons.
•
Use template
to insert or use parts of preset text messages saved in your phone. See also Templates
on page 53.
•
Insert smiley
to add smiley characters, such as :-).
•
Insert word
to add a word in traditional text input,
Insert number
to add a number and
Insert symbol
to add a special character. These options are shown, if you have set
Dictionary
on, see Writing a
message with predictive text input on page 48.
•
Dictionary
to set the predictive text input on and select the language.
•
Sending profile
to send the message to a pre-selected set. See Message settings on page 55.
•
Save
to save the message in the
Outbox
for use at a later time.
•
Clear text
to remove all the characters that you have keyed in from the display.
Writing a message with traditional text input
The traditional text input is indicated by
at the top of the display.
• When writing text, press a number key (
to
) repeatedly until the character you want
appears.
• To switch between upper and lower character case, press
. The symbol ABC or abc at the top of
the display indicates the selected case. After a full stop the first letter is automatically a capital
one.
• To insert a number, press and hold the number key you want.
