Sending and receiving a business card

You can send and receive a person’s contact information as a business card via Infrared (IR) or as an
Over The Air (OTA) message if supported by the network.

Receiving a business card

1. To make your phone ready to receive data through its IR port, press

Menu

and select

Infrared

(Menu 8).

The user of the other phone can now send the name and phone number through its IR port.

2. Once you have received the name and phone number via IR or as an OTA message, press

Options

,

select

Show

,

Save

or

Discard

, and press

OK

.

Sending a business card

Using your phone’s IR port you can send a person’s contact information as a business card from your
phone to another compatible phone or PC running an appropriate application.

1. Search for the name and phone number you want to send from the phone book and press (

Details

)

and

Options

.

2. To send the business card via IR, make sure that the other phone or the PC is set up to receive data

via its IR port and select

Send via IR

. To send the business card as an OTA message, select

Send

.
