Carrier Remote IPE
The Carrier Remote IPE provides functionality by installing only IPE
modules and IPE cards at a distant site. The Remote IPE shares the
system’s Common and Network Equipment to provide the same functions
and features to remote subscribers that are available to local system
subscribers.
A floor-standing column or a wall-mounted cabinet Carrier Remote IPE
is installed at the remote site and is connected to the Meridian 1 Large
System using T1 or E1 connection.
