Chapter 3
Signal Connections
This chapter describes the signals on the DAQCard-700 I/O connector, as well as typical cable
setups.
I/O Connector
Figure 3-1 shows the pin assignments for the DAQCard-700 I/O connector. This connector is
attached to the ribbon cable that extends from the PCMCIA slot when the card is installed and
the cable is connected.
Warning: Connections that exceed any of the maximum ratings of input or output signals on
the DAQCard-700 can damage the DAQCard-700 card and the computer. This
includes connecting any power signals to ground and vice versa. National
Instruments is
NOT liable for any damages resulting from any such signal
connections.
Figure 3-1 shows the DAQCard-700 I/O connector pin assignments.
