13.2 Document jams – sending
Caution:
L Do not pull out the jammed document forcibly
before opening the front cover.
1 Lift open the front cover (
1), holding OPEN (2).
2 Hold the center part of the front cover (
4), and pull
open the inner cover ( 5).
L Do not touch the transfer roller (
6).
3 Remove the jammed document carefully (
7).
4 Push back the inner cover.
5 Close the front cover (
8) by pushing down on both
sides, until locked.
Caution:
The fuser unit (
3) gets hot. Do not touch
it.
