5.3.8.13 SMADCGetGain
Syntax
error_code SMADCGetGain(u_int8 PortNr, u_int8 channel,
u_int8 *pBuffer);
Description
This function checks if an SM-THERM board is fitted on the specified port
and if the channel is valid. It gets the gain amplifier setting of the ADC and
stores the value in a user defined buffer where the user has to take care that
the buffer is large enough to store the data.
Input
u_int8 PortNr
Port number to fetch the gain setting
(from 0 to 10)
u_int8 channel
Number of specified channel (0 to 3)
u_int8 *pBuffer
Pointer to an user defined buffer
Output
error_code
SUCCESS
E_MNF
If wrong type of module or no module
is fitted on the selected port
E_PARAM
If wrong channel number is specified
or standard OS-9 error code (refer to the OS-9
Technical Manual Error Codes Section).
Example
RetVal = SMADCGetGain(0, 1, &Buffer);
