About PQLS function
The PQLS (P
recision Quartz Lock System) is a transfer
cont
rol technology using the KURO LINK function. The
player’s output signals are controlled from the AV
receiver or amplifier to achieve high quality sound
playback using the quartz oscillator of AV receiver or
am
plifier. This eliminates the influence of the jitter
gene
rated upon transfer which can adversely affect the
sound quality.
• The
player supports the “PQLS 2ch Audio” function
that is only activated when
playing audio CDs (CD-
DAs), and the “PQLS Multi Su
rround” function that is
activated when
playing all discs (BDs, DVDs, etc.)
with audio out
