KX-TDA VoIP Options
A popular application for home
workers and branch offices; the
IP extension card allows remote
users to connect IP handsets to
a KX-TDA system giving them
the full feature set as if they
were in the office environment. By installing an IP extension card into the
KX-TDA system, up to 16 IP handsets can
be connected regardless of the location of
the users from head office.

download and 256K upload speed
Normal ADSL connections at worst can be
shared between 20-50 other users.
In this situation it’s advisable to use an
uncontended ADSL connection, or SDSL for
home workers. For multiple users alternative
links may be required.

speed in both directions

System connectivity
Each call will utilise 13k of bandwidth,
therefore consideration must be given to
what type of connection (ADSL, SDSL, etc)
each individual will use to access the
KX-TDA system.

The SIP-GW4 is a brand new gateway
card enables the KX-TDA 15 & 30 to
connect SIP based Internet Telephony
Service Providers (ITSP).
This in turn provides low cost calls VoIP
calls over a broadband IP network.The
SIP-GW4 comes with 4 port SIP trunks
which can be increased to 8 ports with
the SIP-DSP4 (KX-TDA 3451) module.
