Battery charge
Slowly place the handset on the cradle vertically

), then lean it back ( ).
● A beep will sound and the following will be
displayed for an instant time on the base unit.
Display:
The display will show
the date and time.
● If the base unit is in use, a beep may not sound
and the above display may not be shown.

Note:
● Clean the handset and the base unit charge
contacts with a dry cloth once a month, or the
battery may not charge properly.
● The battery cannot be overcharged.
Battery life
If your Panasonic battery is fully charged;
— the battery life will last up to 8 hours while in
use (in conversation).
— it will last for up to about 21 days while not in
use (off the base unit).
● Battery life may vary depending on usage
conditions and ambient temperature.

Recharge the battery when:
— the handset beeps intermittently while it is in
use, or
— the RECHARGE indicator flashes.
Place the handset on the cradle of the base unit
for about 4 hours before initial use.
Automatic security code setting
Whenever you place the handset on the base
unit, the unit will automatically select one of a
million security codes. These codes help to
avoid unauthorized use of your telephone line
by another cordless telephone.
