Engine Stop Switch
The stop switch (C) is located on the top of the left handlebar. The engine will not start or
run when the stop switch is down, in the OFF position. Its purpose is to provide the
operator with a quick means of engine shutdown in case of stuck throttle or other
emergency. NOTE: Both the main switch and the emergency engine stop switch shut off
all electrical power to the entire vehicle. To stop the engine quickly, push the stop switch
down.
Choke Lever
The choke lever (D) is located on the bottom of the left handlebar. The choke is used when
starting a cold engine. Push the choke lever to the left before starting the engine. When the
engine starts, gradually return the choke lever to the OFF position as the engine warms up
and runs smoothly.
Engine Start Button
The start button (E) is located slightly above the choke lever. To start the engine, make
sure the tether strap is securely plugged into the machine and attached to the rider’s right
wrist. Turn the key to the ON position, set the parking brake, push the start button up to
the ON position and press the start button.
