* The
s mode settings are as shown below.
*1 Can be set to a (Flash Off)
*2 Can be set to g (10 sec. Self-timer) or Z (2 sec. Self-timer). (The
setting in a shooting mode other than
s mode is available.)
*3 Can be set to q (Macro), r (super macro) and 3 (Pan Focus)
• If any other functions have been assigned to the Green button, the
camera does not switch to
s mode. The assigned function is
displayed. (p.55)
• In
s mode, you cannot change the information displayed on the
LCD monitor by pressing the 4/W button.
• You cannot use the [A Rec. Mode]
menu or Capture Mode Palette in
s mode. If you try to display the
[A Rec. Mode] menu or Capture Mode
Palette, - (key lock icon) and a
message appear.
• If you switch to Q mode from
s mode,
you cannot display the [u Setting] menu
by pressing the 3 button. If you try to display the [u Setting]
menu, - (key lock icon) and a message appear.
• When the camera is turned off in the
s mode, it turns on in the
s mode next time the power switch is pressed.
