Using the AC Adapter (optional)
If you intend to use the LCD monitor for a long time or connect the
camera to a PC, use of the AC adapter D-AC5 (optional) is recom-
mended.

Make sure that the camera is turned off before opening
the terminal cover.

Connect the DC terminal on the AC adapter to the DC
input terminal on the camera.

Connect the AC plug cord to the AC adapter.

Plug the AC plug cord into the power outlet.
When using the AC adapter, the battery level indicator is not dis-
played on the LCD monitor.
• Make sure that the camera is turned off before connecting
or disconnecting the AC adapter.
• Make sure that the AC plug cord and connecting cord are
inserted securely. If the cord becomes disconnected while
you are taking pictures, the data may be lost.
• When using the AC adapter D-AC5, be sure to read the
operation manual accompanying the AC adapter.
