How to recall [

Set-up] menu
Formatting will delete all the data on the SD Memory Card /
MultiMediaCard.

Select [Format] on the [
B
Set-up] menu.

Press the four-way controller (

The Format screen will be displayed.

Select [Format] with the four-way controller (

Press the OK button.
Formatting will start. The camera is ready to capture or play back
images when formatting is completed.
Formatting a SD Memory Card / MultiMediaCard
• Do not remove the SD Memory Card / MultiMediaCard while the card
is being formatted. The card may be damaged and become unusable.
• SD Memory Cards / MultiMedia Cards formatted on a PC or device
other than the camera cannot be used.
Be sure to format the card with the camera.
• Formatting will delete protected data too.
