PPP ISDN Manual Call Quick Connections
The PPP P1705 & P1730 should be configured with a remote site profile entry for each
router that will be called (see section 2.3.1). A manual direct dial connection may be
performed to establish an initial connection to a remote site router. Once the connection is
established and working properly, the remote site configuration for that router should be
entered into the router. The remote site profile enables ISDN calls to be placed
automatically each time the router starts up (Auto-Call) or automatically depending upon
the time of day activation schedule or upon receiving IP frames from the local LAN
destined for the IP network connected to that particular PPP router.
