Basic WAN Configurations
Basic ISDN Connections
If this P1705 & P1730 are configured as an ISDN bridge/router, it may establish WAN
connections to other bridge/routers via ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network)
connections.
Before the P1705 & P1730 can establish an ISDN connection to another ISDN router, the
ISDN information must be defined. The ISDN switch type must be defined for the ISDN
interface, and the phone numbers must be defined. Refer to the following diagram that
shows three router units connected together with two ISDN B-channels being configured
on each unit.
