Inserting cassettes

Check that there are no cables, etc. around the cassette holder and the top panel and then
set the POWER switch to ON.
If condensation has occurred inside the unit, the HUMID display lights. In these cases, wait
until the display goes off before proceeding to step 2.

Press the EJECT button. The cassette holder opens.
Power: ON

Check there is no slack in the tape, insert the cassette, then press the “PUSH” display on the
cassette holder to close the cassette holder firmly.
Checking that there is no slack in the tape
Press the reel in with your finger and turn it lightly in the direction of the arrow. If the reel does not
turn, there is no slack in the tape.
