TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Solution
Printer or PC
application hangs
1)Ensure that all the connectors are
connected properly.
2)Ensure that the application software
is installed:
-Disconnect the USB cable and
reinstall the CD/DVD printer
application software.
-Reconnect the cable.
1)If the print head is dirty, clean the
print head as described in the
preventive maintenance above.
2)If the printing density is improper,
adjust the printing desity.
3)If the disc print surface is not
suitable, change the disc media.
Thermal printable media is
recommended.
The ribbon cartridge has run out.
Replace the cartridge according to
loading procedure.
Unplug both USB and Power adapter
cable from the printer. Reconnect
USB and Power adapter cable to
printer.
Remove the cartridge from the printer
and roll the ribbon with a sharp ended
object at the hub of cartridge until it
is tight.
Reduce the number of lines or use a
smaller font size.
Ribbon become
loose
Portions of input
data are not
printed.
Unable to print
Poor printer
quality
No response from
