Using the REC Menu
Advanced Shooting
- By using the REC menu, you can take pictures with your desired settings.
You can set the camera using the “REC (BASIC) menu” (default setting), or
“REC (DETAILS)” (p.48).
- The settings made with each menu will be maintained, even when power is
turned off, until the settings are changed, unless otherwise described.
Setting with the REC (BASIC) Menu
1. Turn the power ON, with the LCD monitor
on (through image display).
Pressing the MENU/SET button will display
the REC menu screen.
2. Select the menu you wish to set by pressing

3. After selecting the menu, pressing

display the set-up screen (screen 3) of the
menu. After selecting the desired content

button will complete the set-up and will
return you to screen 1.
4. Pressing the

, or pressing the MENU/SET button after selecting
“RETURN” with screen 1 (REC menu screen) will complete the REC menu
and return to the through image (picture shooting mode).
