recorded disc.
BLANK DISC
¶ The disc can be used for recording
without any problem.
¶ The disc does not contain any tracks
but has a disc title.
NO TRACKS
¶ This is a normal operation. ¶ The TOC* 1 data of the disc is being
read.
READING
¶ This is a normal operation. ¶ The data related to editing or record-
ing is being written in the disc.
WRITING
¶ Perform “QUICK ERASE” to delete
all titles “ + + + + + ALL?”. If this is not
possible, use another disc.

¶ The contents of UTOC *2 are abnor-
mal.
DISC ERROR
¶ Perform editing following the re-
strictions.
¶ An attempt is made to perform editing
beyond the restrictions, for example to
erase a track which is too short.
CAN'T EDIT
¶ Press the ENTER key to execute
editing.
¶ This is a message for confirming if
editing can really be executed.

¶ Release the “WRITE PROTECT”
condition.

¶ Load a recordable Mini Disc. 0 ¶ A playback-only Mini Disc is loaded.

CAN'T LOAD
¶ A CD corresponding to CD-TEXT has
not been inserted into the CD player.
¶ The CD player is not connected via an
optical fiber cable.
¶ Set a CD corresponding to CD-TEXT
into the CD player.
¶ Connect the CD player with an op-
tical fiber cable and match the REC
INPUT of the MD recorder.
CAN'T COPY
¶ Title copying may not be possible,
depending on the disc.
¶ The titles of this disc can not be
copied. (Replace the disc.)
