Connect the printer to the computer.

A standard Centronics parallel interface connector (

) and RS-232C/RS-422A serial interface

connector (IOIOI) are located on the rear side of the printer. For pin connections, please refer to
Appendix C.

CAUTION

Before performing this step, be sure to turn off the printer's power switch

and unplug the power plug from the power outlet. Failure to do so may
