Push the appliance by the steering shaft handle

Storage

Store the appliance in a dry area, protected

from non-permitted use.

To save space, fold the upper shaft handle

down. For this, loosen the two connecting
screws

(see Fig. E).

Take steps to ensure the power cable

is not

trapped or squeezed.

Do not place any objects on the appliance.

Before every use, always check by visual control:

- the power cable

and the extension cable

for damages, especially to the protective
isolation covering (e.g. tears, breaks).

- the curved blade bar

and the securing

bolt

for wear and tear.

- for faultless assembly.

Use the appliance only when it is complete,

correctly assembled and without visible damage.

Changing the curved blade bar

Remove the grass box

and lay the appli-

ance on its side.

To counter the rotary movement caused by

unscrewing, place a restrainer (screwdriver or
similar) into the insert opening.

j

Unscrew the securing bolt

from the drive

shaft with an SW 13 mm spanner.

Remove the curved blade bar

Firmly affix the new curved blade bar

21

with

the securing bolt

22

and the washer back on

to the drive shaft.
The marking for the direction of rotation on the
curved blade bar must be visible (see Fig. F).

Remove the restrainer and bring the appliance

back into an upright position.

Cleaning

Appliance upper surfaces

Directly after mowing, thoroughly remove all

grass remnants and grime.

j

Pay particular attention to cleaning the venti-

lation slits in the housing

Use a cloth and a hand brush.

Appliance lower surfaces

j

Remove the grass box

and lay the appli-

ance on its side.

Pay particular attention to cleaning the curved

blade bar

and its surroundings.

j

Use a hand brush as well as a wood or plastic rod.

j

Under no circumstances should you use water,

solvents or detergents!
