Setting the time signature

An accent will be added to the first beat of each measure.

1. Hold down the METRONOME button, and press the sound select button for

the desired time signature.
An accent will be added at the beginning of each measure.

2. To silence the accent, press the sound select button whose indicator is lit

when you hold down the METRONOME button.
You can check the current metronome setting by holding down the METRO-
NOME button and noting which of the sound select button indicators is lit.

When you turn off the power, the time signature setting will be cleared (to
no accent).

Changing the accent

Here’s how to change the metronome’s accent sound.

1. Hold down the METRONOME button, and press the [VIBES/GUITAR] sound

select button.
The accent will change to a bell sound, and the [VIBES/GUITAR] indicator will
light.

2. To return to the standard accent, hold down the METRONOME button and

press the [HARPSI/CLAV] sound select button.
The [HARPSI/CLAV] indicator will light.

You can check the currently selected accent sound (standard or bell) by holding
down the METRONOME button and noting which of the sound select button
indicators is lit.

When you turn off the power, the accent will revert to the standard sound.
