3 Raise the Auto Document Feeder.
4 While turning the document feed
knob in the direction of the arrow,
gently pull out the original.
5 Close the Document Feeder Cover.
6 Load the documents removed in step 2 back into the tray.

Note
Replace the document page that was misfed, according to the page number
indicated in the Display.
If “ORIGINAL DOC. JAM” remains displayed, even after clearing misfed
document, perform the misfeed-clearing procedure again.
