Activating the
Network Features
To use the network features of the projector,
a peer-to-peer connection between the
projector and a computer or a connection of
both devices over a network is required.
There are four types of Network Mode
(VPL-MX25: 3 and 4/VPL-DX15: 1 to
4
). Use one of the methods according to
your network environment.
There are precautions on use of the network
features. See “Use of Network Features” on
page 6 before you start using this feature.
• When you make a connection, a network
configuration such as an IP Address setting
may be required. For details, contact your
network administrator.
• If your network environment has changed,
set up the network configuration again.
Choose one of the four types of Network
Mode according to your network
environment.
Wired Connection (VPL-DX15 only)
1 Connection between the projector
and a computer
Use a cross type Ethernet cable for the
connection.

configuration, see “Making a Wired
Connection with a Computer” on page 14.
