hc_nvr_get_string

Retrieves a value of a Unicode UTF-8 string.

Synopsis

hcerr_t hc_nvr_get_string(hc_nvr_t *nvr,

char *name,

hc_string_t *retstring);

Description

This function retrieves the value of a Unicode UTF-8 string associated with an indicated
attribute name in a name-value record. Note that the memory pointed to will be freed when the
record is freed.

Parameters

nvr

Points to a name-value-record.

name

IN: Attribute name to look for.

retstring

OUT: Updated to contain the hc_string_t value.
