Preferences
Prolong backlight – the normal backlight period is about 30 seconds; with this option you can prolong it
up to 90 seconds.
Leave line when turn page – if checked, then Handy Book will leave one line when turning page up and
down.
Open last book – if this option is checked, then Handy Book will open the last book at start-up.
Encoding – here you can set the book encoding (code page): Western European (windows-1252),
Central European, or Cyrillic.
Electronic books (e-books)
E-books are electronic versions of books and documents. Palm DOC is a document format that is used to
stores these books in a compressed format. It originated on the Palm PDAs a number of years ago.

Computers, Sports, Travel, Adventure, Humour, Novels, Poetry, Sci-Fi, Mystery and much more.

Q: What is Palm DOC format?
A: DOC, or Doc, is a generic name for a type of text document format usable by nearly all PDA platforms.
Note that this format is not the same as the .doc filename extension usually given to Microsoft Word
document files.
