TABLE 1 lists the switches, directors, and backbones compatible with the following
configurations:
■ A Brocade 7800 Extension Switch running Fabric OS 6.3.0a.
■ A Brocade DCX Backbone or DCX-4S Backbone running Fabric OS 6.3.0a with a
Brocade FX8-24 Extension Blade installed.
Use the recommended software release versions to optimize the benefits of a SAN.
