2. To switch between the two calls, press the or

To end a held call, press the
soft key and select
the End held call option.
3. To end the current call, press the

Any held calls will automatically be reconnected to
you.
Searching for a Number in the Phonebook
You can search for a number in the phonebook during a
call.
1. Press the
soft key.
2. If necessary, press the
or
key to highlight
the Phonebook option. Press the
soft key.
3. Select the Find name option and press the
soft
key.
The phonebook entries are listed.
4. Enter the first few letters of the name that you want
to find.
Note: You can also scroll through the phonebook
from the beginning, by pressing the
and
keys.
The phonebook entries are listed, starting with the
first entry matching your input. This entry is also
highlighted.
5. To view the highlighted entry, press the
soft key.

Using the Scratchpad
Your phone has a convenient feature for entering a
phone number during a call as if it were a note pad.
While using this feature, the key tones are automa-
tically muted to avoid disturbing your conversation.
To use the Scratchpad feature, proceed as follows.
1. Press the
soft key and select the Scratchpad
option.
2. Enter the number using the number keypad.
When you end the call, the number remains on the
display.
3. Press the Save soft key to save the number in your
phonebook; for further details, refer to page 45.
Answering a Second Call
You can answer an incoming call while you have a
call in progress, if this service is supported by the
network and you have activated the Call waiting
option (see page 111). You will be notified of an
incoming call by a call waiting tone.
To answer a call while you have a call in progress,
proceed as follows.
1. Press the
key to answer the incoming call.
The first call is automatically put on hold.
