Adjusting the balance
(BAL)

You can adjust the sound balance from the left
and right speakers.

Press (SOURCE) to select a source (tuner,
CD, or MD).

Press (SOUND) repeatedly until “BAL”
appears.

Rotate the dial to adjust the balance.
After three seconds, the display returns to
the normal playback mode.

Adjusting the fader (FAD)

Normally, with the DSP mode on, the volume
of the output sound from the front and rear
speakers is lowered automatically to improve
the efficiency of the listening position setting.
If you want to raise the front and rear speaker
volume, adjust the fader.

Press (SOURCE) to select a source (tuner,
CD, or MD).

Press (SOUND) repeatedly to select the
“F” for the front speakers or “R” for the
rear speakers.

Rotate the dial to adjust the volume of
front/rear speakers.

After three seconds, the display returns to
the normal playback mode.

Increases speaker volume

Decreases speaker volume

Selecting the DSO

Press (SOURCE) to select a source (tuner,
CD, or MD).

Press (SOUND) repeatedly until “DSO”
appears.

Rotate the dial to select the desired DSO
mode.

4 E-WIDE y 5 EW-CLUB y 6 EW-LIVE y

7 LIVE y 8 CLUB y off

To cancel the DSO mode, select “off.”
After three seconds, the display returns to
the normal playback mode.

Adjusting the DSO mode

Press (SOUND) for two seconds.

Rotate the dial to select the desired DSO
mode.

effect level.

If you want to change the DSO mode to be
adjusted at this time, press (2) (

return to step 2.
To restore the factory-set equalizer curve,
press (6) (ENTER) for two seconds.

Press (SOUND) for two seconds.
When the effect setting is complete, the
normal playback mode appears.
