Hydro Belt Routing & Replacement
Disconnect spark plug wire
Apply parking brake
Disconnect wiring from electric clutch
Remove clutch stop weldment (9973TK)
Remove t he engine to deck belt
Disconnect idler spring
Disconnect tension idler
Remove belt from the engine pulley and from
the Hydro pulleys
Removal
Install new belt by placing it around
the engine pulley and the hydro pulleys.
Refer to routing diagram below.
The belt will be loose at this time
Tightly secure the belt tension back
to its original position
Reinstall the belt from the engine to
the deck
Reconnect wiring to the electric clutch
Reconnect spark plug wire
Replacement
