B y using the security setting on your PCS Phone, you receive peace of mind
without sacrificing flexibility. With several options available, you can
customize your phone to meet your personal needs.

Setting TTY Mode
This feature set the TTY Mode to on or off.
A TTY(also known as TDD or Text Telephone) is a telecommunications
device that allows people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or who have
speech or language disabilities, to communicate by telephone. Connect
the TTY device to the Headset Jack of Your PCS Phone. Then type the
message you want to send on the TTY’s keyboard.
To Turn the TTY Mode On or Off:
1. From the Standby mode, press .
2. Press .
3. Highlight Save Phone# and press .
4. Highlight Accessibility and press .
5. Highlight TTY On or TTY Off and press .
